We are ActionAid, a federation of organisations with a global reach that since 1972 has promoted people's rights around the world, focusing on social justice and gender equality to fight inequalities and eradicate poverty.
In Spain, we have been working for more than 35 years. In 2018, Alianza por la Solidaridad joined ActionAid, a global and local movement that works alongside women who, despite being in the worst circumstances, decide to organise themselves to change things.
Being part of a global organisation allows us to go further and learn about the reality of women around the world, to listen to them and support them in their struggle through their transformative power.
